Scalp cooling is not used with:

• Cancer of the blood and lymph nodes
• Cold-sensitive conditions such as:
  • cold sensitivity
  • cold agglutinin disease
  • cryoglobulinemia
  • cryofibrinogenemia
  • cold-sensitive complex regional pain syndrome
• Patients who receive marrow-ablative chemotherapy or radiation of the head after the chemotherapy
